The transition between a curtain wall system and a concrete masonry unit wall assembly with a metal panel veneer occurs at the jamb connection, where shims are placed alongside continuous backer rod and sealant for weather sealing. An air barrier is installed continuously into the jamb detail. A twenty-two gauge bent metal jamb is provided to match the adjacent metal panel, finished with a typical corner bead.
