Suspended ceiling hanger wire and lateral brace wire installations require specific end-turn counts for structural seismic compliance. The hanger wire detail shows a number 12 gauge wire secured with three turns at each end, maintaining a maximum three-inch spacing from the anchor connection. The brace wire detail incorporates an angled attachment positioned between ten and forty-five degrees, secured with four turns at each end. A bendable clip aligns the wire with the structural anchorage point, using a maximum one-and-one-half-inch offset unless otherwise noted. Structural connections are sized per the project connection table.
