The metal stud wall terminates at the underside of the mezzanine or roof structure using a two-inch deep-leg slip track. The metal stud runner is nested within the slip track to allow for vertical movement of the structure above. Flexible sealant is applied at the joint between the gypsum wallboard and the structure to maintain a seal while allowing for deflection.
