A hot-dipped galvanized hollow structural section round column penetrates the roof assembly, fully insulated with spray-injected foam. A one-inch thick thermal break pad is installed at the lower plate connection to minimize thermal bridging, secured with threaded fasteners referenced to structural drawings. A flashing boot is hot-air welded to the base flashing around the column, with a clamp ring and sealant applied at the top. The roof assembly includes mechanical roof fasteners and an Underwriters Laboratories rated penetration firestop at the deck level.
