A hollow structural section outrigger measuring six inches by six inches by one-half inch with welded caps extends from column line two to column line six, framing out from a steel column. A six-inch metal channel with horizontal metal studs spaced at two feet on center connects to the outrigger assembly. The structural steel column and outrigger penetration are wrapped with five-eighths-inch gypsum board featuring metal bead trim, fully caulked and sealed. The exterior wall consists of two-inch Kingspan insulated metal panels mounted on one-half-inch hat channels spaced at two feet on center over insulation.
