A supported steel beam frames into the web of a supporting steel beam using bolted connection plates on each side of the web. The connection plates feature vertical bolt groups sized per the structural schedule, with standard edge distances and spacings including two-inch typical vertical spacing and one-and-a-half-inch horizontal gauge lines. A maximum three-quarter-inch clearance is maintained at the beam end. All connection detailing complies with the AISC Manual.
