An inverted mineral surfaced sheet is fastened in place across the deck assembly, spaced twelve inches apart with mechanical fasteners and distribution plates. Steel seismic deck straps span across the structural panel joint and are secured with multiple rows of fasteners. The assembly provides structural continuity and seismic resistance across building expansion joints or panel transitions.
