A composite floor deck occurs above, sized per structural drawings. A minimum 6-inch deep by 18-gauge steel C-joist is spaced at a maximum of 24 inches on center. Furring channels are attached below, spaced at 24 inches on center. A layer of 1/2-inch core gypsum board finishes the ceiling assembly.
