A partition per plan terminates below a structural concrete deck using a continuous channel runner nested within a deflection track. The track assembly is anchored directly to the underside of the concrete slab to accommodate vertical deflection. This joint detail provides a movement capability of fifty percent and complies with UL listing HW-D-0259.
