A roof penetration passes through a metal deck assembly with a vapor barrier flashed and sealed to the penetration. An adhered membrane flashing extends up the penetration with a minimum height of eight inches. A bead of silicone sealant is installed between the penetration and flashing membrane. A stainless steel drawband secures the top of the membrane with additional silicone sealant applied at the joint.
