A metal cable tray measuring up to twenty-four by six inches penetrates a rated partition with an annular space ranging from zero to four inches maximum. Two-inch by eight-inch by five-inch fire blocks sit flush to the bottom of the floor. Firestopping sealant is applied into any void between the cables and the tray to the maximum extent possible. Cables fill a maximum of forty percent of the cross-sectional area of the cable tray per UL listing W-L-4011.
