A gypsum board partition on metal stud framing terminates against a black anodized aluminum storefront system with scheduled glazing. Continuous backer rod and sealant are applied on both sides of the vertical joint between the metal stud wall end and the storefront frame. The gypsum board finish wraps the exposed end of the wall without a base, while the wall assembly may continue past the intersection depending on the partition type.
