A roof penetration detail featuring a field-fabricated pipe flashing assembly installed over rigid insulation. A water stop and non-reinforced flashing wrap the vertical pipe penetration, secured near the top by a stainless steel clamping ring installed per the manufacturer. A reinforced membrane extends horizontally across the roof substrate and up the penetration, bonded with a one-inch minimum lap and a twelve-inch maximum fastening spread. Fasteners and fastening plates secure the membrane layers, finished with sealant at the edges.
