A prefinished metal panel soffit meets exterior aluminum composite material panels at a building overhang. The assembly is supported by steel stud framing with a deflection header tied back to structural steel encapsulated with fire-rated gypsum wallboard. A self-adhered membrane and insulation protect the deck assembly. Cross cavity flashing and ACM trim finish the exterior transitions and joints.
