An in-ground metal bollard consists of a one hundred fifty millimeter (six inch) diameter steel pipe filled with concrete and finished with enamel paint. The bollard extends down into an eighteen inch diameter hole filled with twenty-five megapascals concrete to a minimum depth of nine hundred fifteen millimeters (three feet zero inches) below grade. Asphalt paving surrounds the base of the post as specified in civil drawings.
