A compression strut post connects to a concrete deck using a 4-inch by 4-inch by 68-mil bent plate secured by two number 10 sheet metal screws. The assembly anchors to the concrete deck using a Hilti X-DNI shot pin with 1-inch embedment, maintaining a three-quarters-inch minimum clearance.
