A 1-1/4 inch outside diameter Schedule 40 galvanized pipe guardrail upright fits over a shop-welded galvanized steel mounting post secured with a stainless steel clamp and galvanized set bolts. The mounting post attaches to the roof deck assembly with at least four fasteners and a base plate. Manufacturer's recommended sealant is applied at the joints. A manufacturer standard vent flashing seals around the base, integrated with a hot air weld at the membrane roofing over the top of the roof metal deck.
