Roof penetrations must maintain a minimum clearance of 12 inches from walls, curbs, and other penetrations or projections. A minimum 12-inch spacing is required between individual penetration flashings. Additionally, a 4-inch minimum clearance is maintained between the penetration flashing and other roof features. All penetrations must be located at least 12 inches away from valley waterways to ensure proper drainage and flashing integrity.
