A scheduled metal stud partition terminates at a storefront system with double studs at the jamb. The gypsum board return wraps the stud cavity to meet the storefront frame, finished with shims as required. Backer rod and sealant are applied at the perimeter joints between the metal framing and the storefront system. The storefront door swings within the aluminum framing assembly.
