This two-hour rated partition assembly designated as GA# WP 1522 consists of two layers of five-eighths inch gypsum board applied to each side of three and five-eighths inch, eighteen gauge minimum metal studs spaced at sixteen inches on center. Three and one-half inch insulation is installed in the cavity between the metal studs. The wall assembly terminates at the underside of a floor or roof deck.
