Thermoplastic polyolefin membrane and bonding adhesive extend continuously up the vertical wall and over blocking. A quarter-inch Dens-Deck roof board overlays the wood deck supported by bar joists. Three times wood cleats are fastened to the bar joists, and two-by wood joists are secured with fasteners and heavy-duty seam plates per the roof manufacturer. Welded splices and lap sealant complete the weatherproofing at membrane joints.
