A roof parapet construction over a cross-laminated timber panel. The roof assembly consists of a two-ply SBS modified bituminous membrane over a coverboard, rigid insulation, and a vapor permeable self-adhered membrane. The parapet is capped with a metal composite material coping backed by a foil-faced self-adhesive membrane and a weather-resistive barrier. The exterior facade features prefinished cedar siding and a prefinished exterior glue-laminated vertical fin, with exposed cross-laminated timber at the overhang sealed along the exterior plane. A break metal flashing is provided at the base of the parapet return, and the roof slopes to drain per the roof plans.
