A 1-1/2 inch diameter powder-coated handrail mounts to a steel stud wall via a metal bracket spaced at a maximum of 5'-0" on center. The bracket anchors into a 1/8 inch by 3 inch flat strap metal blocking placed over the face of the steel stud behind the gypsum board finish. The top of the handrail is positioned at 35 inches to the top of the finished floor. The handrail returns to the wall at its ends.
