A continuous 1-1/2 inch by 1-1/2 inch by 16 gauge minimum metal angle frames the ceiling opening using self-tapping screws. Hanger wires support the framed opening assembly according to structural ceiling notes. An integrated light fixture is accommodated within the opening per electrical drawings. Acoustical ceiling tiles or gypsum board finish the surrounding ceiling plane.
