A typical corner junction for a two-hour rated shaft wall assembly. The wall is constructed with two layers of five-eighths-inch Type X gypsum board fastened with screws, featuring overlapping panels at the corner. A corner bead is applied at the exterior corner for protection and a clean edge finish.
