This vertical joint assembly between two concrete panels utilizes a three-sealant configuration with backer rods. Two backer rods and sealant beads are installed on the exterior side of the joint, while a single backer rod and sealant bead are placed on the interior side. A weep vent is integrated at the base of the joint to manage moisture. Rigid insulation is included within the panel assembly where specified by the project plans and assembly type. The joint gap is dimensioned with a 1/2-inch width, flanked by 3/8-inch clearances.
