An existing mechanical curb features a minimum eight-inch vertical flashing height covered by sheet metal flashing at the top. A reinforced flashing membrane is mechanically attached to the curb side using gasketed fasteners. A sheet metal counter flashing extends down over the membrane termination and is secured with a termination bar. The base of the flashing membrane is sealed with a heat weld and sealant against the typical roof assembly.
