An interior sliding door track is mounted to a nominal two-by-six solid wood blocking running the full length of the track behind the gypsum board. An aluminum door frame with an integrated aluminum rail cover conceals the sliding mechanism and the top of the sliding door. An EPDM gasket seals the assembly against the door frame, which features a two-inch vertical dimension and a width dimensioned to be verified on site.
