An expansion joint membrane assembly bridges a structural gap over metal decking and R-Control EPS insulation. An expansion joint support, or alternative sponge tubing and filler, is installed at the joint per the manufacturer's specifications. A reinforced membrane covers the assembly, secured by fasteners and fastening plates spaced at twelve inches on center. A cut-edge sealant is applied along the perimeter of the membrane to ensure weather tightness.
