The bench is constructed with a wood-framed base finished with WD-7.1 plywood panels and a WD-1.2 solid wood kick scribed to the floor. The seating surface consists of FAB-2 over two-inch 42-250 high-density foam, finished with WD-1.2 solid wood nosing at all exposed edges. A wood mechanical register is integrated into the bench top, supported by L-angles and fitted with a black mesh screen attached to the underside of the grate. The assembly abuts a curtain wall sill cap at the window perimeter.
