Rectangular ductwork is supported either by typical straps spaced at a maximum of thirty-six inches or by support trapeze assemblies utilizing hanger rods. Straps connect to the duct within two inches of the edge using number ten sheet metal screws, sized per SMACNA duct construction standards. Trapeze assemblies incorporate hanger rods and support channels positioned beneath the duct. Upper attachment devices and seismic restraints comply with SMACNA standards and specific seismic restraint guidelines.
