A continuous six-inch by fourteen-gauge track is secured with number twelve screws on each side at each stud. This track mates with a continuous six-inch by fourteen-gauge by three-and-one-quarter-inch deep leg seismic drift track featuring a four-inch web slot. Number twelve sheet metal screws are installed at twelve inches on center and at each stud typically. A drift insert is positioned alongside six-inch by sixteen-gauge steel studs spaced at sixteen inches on center.
