An epoxy terrazzo floor system transitions to a carpet tile or walkoff mat over a structural concrete slab. A one-quarter-inch aluminum divider strip separates the two flooring finishes and ensures clean alignment. The concrete slab is floated as needed to achieve the required finish floor elevations for both materials. A bonding agent is applied beneath the terrazzo topping to secure it to the concrete substrate.
