This interior wall assembly features wood studs faced with five-eighths inch gypsum board and a melamine finish layer. Two-by-six wood blocking is installed horizontally between the wall studs at coordinated heights to support a wall-mounted television. Vertical dimensions of four feet four and one-quarter inches and five feet seven and three-quarter inches establish the height of the blocking from the finished floor. The exact horizontal and vertical placement of the blocking must be coordinated with the television location shown on the floor plan.
