This assembly features a metal grate landing composed of 1 1/4 inch by 1/8 inch bearing bars spaced at 1 3/16 inches on center with cross bars at 4 feet on center. The grate is supported by a galvanized steel channel that is secured to the cast-in-place concrete wall using galvanized anchors as specified in the structural drawings. A painted galvanized steel stringer and a 1 1/2 inch outside diameter painted galvanized steel post are positioned adjacent to the door. The finish floor elevation is aligned with the top of the grate landing.
