A custom millwork totem enclosure wraps around a central hollow structural section steel column. The steel column features a welded base or cap plate with four anchor bolts or fasteners positioned at the corners. The surrounding framing consists of light-gauge metal studs lined with gypsum board layers. Exterior surfaces are finished with paneling and trim components secured via countersunk screws and track attachments. Dimensions indicate a 7 1/2 inch offset from the column centerline to the outer edge, and a 9 7/8 inch dimension to the interior stud wall face.
