Suspended ceiling framing terminates at two adjacent walls with a floating connection using twelve-gauge hanger wires installed either vertically or sloped up to a maximum of one in six. A tee end retaining clip holds the grid runner without being fastened to the wall angles. The wall angles attach directly to the perimeter walls, leaving the grid unattached so it can move freely. Spacing limits include an eight-inch maximum distance from the wall for the hanger wire, a three-eighths-inch minimum clearance, and a seven-eighths-inch minimum wall angle leg.
