A field-fabricated TPO pipe flashing assembly is installed over a roof structure consisting of one and one-half inches of concrete on a corrugated metal deck, rigid insulation, and a one-half inch substrate. A non-reinforced TPO flashing is secured around the penetration using Mule-Hide heavy-duty fasteners and barbed seam plates spaced a maximum of twelve inches on center, supplemented by non-staining pressure-sensitive tape requiring tape primer on the tubing and back side of the membrane. The flashing is heat-formed by hand prior to hot air welding to a six-inch wide TPO reinforced membrane set on the roof deck. A bead of cut-edge sealant approximately one-eighth inch in diameter is applied to the cut edges of the TPO reinforced membrane. The top of the flashing is sealed all around with Mule-Hide all-purpose sealant.
