This exterior wall assembly consists of cold-formed steel stud framing with interior gypsum board lining. Cavity insulation fills the space between studs, backed by exterior sheathing. Continuous rigid insulation is applied to the exterior face of the sheathing, followed by an outer cladding layer. Fasteners and thermal barriers are integrated throughout the layered wall construction.
