A metal stud partition terminates above a storefront window system. The metal studs are framed with gypsum board on each side and wrapped at the base with aluminum brake metal finished to match the window system. A neoprene gasket provides a resilient separation layer between the aluminum brake metal and the storefront head profile below. The storefront assembly is sized and positioned per plan.
