A painted one-half inch by one-inch flat plate steel rail bottom aligns its bottom edge with the underside of the concrete floor slab beyond. A steel closure plate completes the assembly. Welds include five-sixteenth-inch fillet welds and typical one-eighth-inch brush welds at the top and bottom.
