An access floor panel system terminates at a concrete slab wall, supported on adjustable pedestals with base plates resting on the structural slab. Access floor panels are cut to within one-sixteenth of an inch of the wall, with a sealant applied at the floor-to-wall line. A finish floor material is applied over the access panels and referenced to interior design drawings. A transition strip bridges the joint where the access floor meets the adjacent finish floor material at the wall perimeter.
