This roadway widening section details the multi-layer pavement build-up consisting of a five-eighths inch hot mix asphalt surface course over existing or cut bituminous concrete pavement, supplemented by a two-inch hot mix asphalt course in two equal courses and a five-inch hot mix asphalt base course in two equal courses. The assembly includes a twelve-inch subbase over proposed subgrade, flanked by a six-inch bituminous concrete lip curbing with a bituminous joint seal and a three-percent cross-slope. Adjoining site conditions feature topsoil and turf establishment alongside a proposed concrete sidewalk on site within the right-of-way limits.
