Detail A includes a 3-inch 16-gauge metal decking sloping at 1/4 inch per foot, supported by an L3x3x1/4 angle welded to the structural steel channel. Detail D includes an L4x4x1/4 angle connected to a C15 channel at 48 inches on center using a 1/4-inch by 3-inch by 0-foot 8-inch plate, secured with two 5/8-inch bolts per plate and 1/4-inch fillet welds. All exposed steel is specified to be painted black, and bird netting is required beneath the canopy structure.
