An interior aluminum frame secures a one-quarter-inch tempered glazing panel at the window head condition. The head frame fastens directly into the underside of a partition framed with four-inch metal studs spaced at sixteen inches on center. Both sides of the partition and the adjacent ceiling plane are finished with five-eighths-inch gypsum board over metal framing.
