A structural steel column is framed with metal studs and gypsum board partitions on surrounding sides, incorporating a specific offset of 7 1/2 inches on one face and 6 3/4 inches on the opposite face. A tab is attached directly to the steel column to facilitate furring channel attachment as needed for the partition finish. Metal framing tracks and studs enclose the column to coordinate with the adjacent brace frame alignment below.
