An expansion joint assembly spans a corridor ceiling at an elevation of 11'-0" above finished floor. A three-inch wide white expansion joint cover manufactured by Nystrom, model EJN-LCA-300 or approved equal, spans the opening between acoustical ceiling tile systems hung with hanger wires attached to the overhead concrete slab and metal decking. Perimeter trim and Axiom clips finish the ceiling edges alongside six-inch 16-gauge metal stud walls fire-safed with fire-resistant sealant. Suspended framing incorporates typical ceiling anchors and lateral bracing where required.
