A continuous three-eighths-inch thick bent plate anchors above a steel assembly with a W8x35 wide-flange shape positioned beyond. Three-eighths-inch steel end pickets extend three and a half inches up underneath the guardrail. An internal electrical conduit and lighting fixture are accommodated within the vertical support member.
