This assembly utilizes a premanufactured penetration membrane flashing boot to seal a roof penetration through roof assembly R01. The membrane flashing is adhered to the roof membrane with bonding adhesive, maintaining a minimum height of 8 inches. A stainless steel clamping ring secures the top of the boot, while a continuous bead of membrane-compatible sealant is applied beneath the rain hood. The vapor barrier is turned up to the height of the roof insulation and lapped and sealed to the air and water barrier.
