Roof drain and overflow drain assemblies are integrated into a built-up roof over plywood sheathing supported by structural framing. A 4-pound lead flashing sheet is set into roof cement over the installed base sheet around the primary drain, accompanied by a cant strip and wood framing members including two 2x8 minimum framing pieces and 2x6 minimum framing secured with 10d nails at 6 inches on center staggered. The overflow drain assembly features a shield positioned with its top two inches above the minimum roof deck. Plywood panels measuring 3/4 inch exterior grade comprise the surrounding deck structure, with specified vertical and horizontal clearances.
